Background: Severe acute malnutrition is known to be a major risk factor for impaired motor, cognitive, and socio-emotional development. Not much work has been done study the neuro development of these patients. The aim this was assess neurodevelopment outcome children between 1 30 months with diagnosis SAM Methods: an observational prospective conducted from November 2018 April 2020. A total 61 patients were enrolled in our study. Patients admitted NRC assessed after stabilization. Developmental assessment scale Indian infants used calculate motor developmental quotient mental quotient. followed till 6 months, they again by DASII see improvement status. less 70 taken as delayed. Results: Mean DMeQ stabilization at discharge 53.672 72.591 respectively.
